Word Sort Wizard LITE

The paid version of Word Sort Wizard contains approximately 400 built-in word sorts to help students master their spelling.

The word sorts contained cover the curriculum from Prep to Year 7. Whether students are learning the alphabet, understanding the different sounds of vowels, investigating patterns within words, studying antonyms, expanding their vocabulary through word associations, or learning how prefixes and suffixes affect meaning, word sorts will enhance and enliven learning. The Word Sort Wizard gives instant feedback and even gives a percentage correct (first time) at the end of each word sort.

Custom word sorts can also be created and saved to your device.

Custom word sorts can then be shared to other app users via a "share code". Students can then enter this share code on their device's app and play/save the word sort(s).

Sorts can be played with or without a timer to challenge your skills.

Students can grab a partner and have a race to see who gains the highest score, or race to see who can be first to get 100% on a word sort. It's fun!

Teachers: you will find a broad range of skills, typically addressed in any developmental spelling program, in Word Sort Wizard.

Ideally suited to customization of learning, small group work, competition, individual tasks, interactive whiteboards and homework.

NOTE: This is the LITE version of the app. The PAID version has no limitations.

The LITE version has several limitations compared to the paid version -

Once a custom exercise is added it can't be deleted/edited.

An exercise ends after 4 words.

Only a selection of exercises from the ALL category are playable in each word sort library.

10 plays are available.

Loading shared exercises is not available in the LITE version.

Search Bar and Delete All And Save To Device functions are not available in the LITE version.
