For each operation, there are three levels of difficulty available - easy, medium, hard - and you can choose the one that suits you best. The game has two different modes - a practice mode and a test mode. If you don't want to be timed and just want to solve some arithmetic problems, choose the practice mode. In this mode you can choose the number of questions to solve. If you want to be timed and evaluated, then choose the test mode. In this mode you get 100 seconds to solve as many arithmetic problems as you can and as an indicator of your performance you get a score - the higher, the better. The best thing about this app is that if you ever get stuck on an arithmetic problem, whether in practice or test mode, you can always ask for a hint - it's the big blue button that's hard to miss. The hint is interactive and optimized - it shows you step by step how to best solve the problem mentally. Tap on the hint to stop it and examine each step in detail.
