Bravely Archive: D’s Report is a Japanese RPG developed by Square Enix for mobile devices. This is a side game in relation to the Bravely Default cycle.
The action is set several hundred years after the events from the console parts of the series. We play the role of a new employee of the ancient library Anastasis, which, according to legends, contains all the knowledge that has ever been discovered in this universe. It is the responsibility of our shoulders to ensure that this state of affairs does not change. That’s why we have to travel around the world and collect memories of great heroes locked in magic crystals, and then deliver these prey to the library.
In Bravely Archive: D’s Report we command the team of characters and spend most of our time fighting turn-based battles. The key to winning is the magic system and the combination of attacks into deadly combinations with a variety of effects. For example, one of the spells throws an opponent into the air, allowing him to be hit with techniques available only against flying enemies.
As befits a decent RPG, Bravely Archive: D’s Report also included a development system. In addition to the traditional collection of experience points and improvement of statistics, the mechanics of professions is also present. Within this framework, our characters can develop in one of more than thirty professions and after mastering one of them they can freely choose their next career path, which allows for a lot of freedom in shaping the skills of characters.
