The original Stellaris requirements were pretty optimistic. They have recently been updated. Now to run Stellaris smoothly you will require a Phenom II X4 850 or Intel i3 2100 processor. The GPU required to reach Stellaris high graphics settings and reliable FPS at 1080p resolution would be either a AMD HD 6850 or a Nvidia GTX 560 Ti. The Stellaris system memory requirement is 4GB.
