This is the free version of Gallimaufry Words, an entertaining and educational word puzzle game.
It is a hybrid of a crosswords-like game and a words-jumble game. It will entertain and educate by enhancing the player's vocabulary and spelling skills. A fun quite game for stimulating the brain and passing the time fruitfully.
The Gallimaufry Words website has extensive written and video instructions for how to play as well as strategies for solving the puzzle.
The game is great fun to play with friends and family on various occasions (e.g. Halloween). It has 5 occasional categories (plus two more of Easy and All) where the clues for the words reflect the occasion providing an additional level of help to solve the puzzle as well as an enjoyable way to invoke memories of the occasion's cultural themes and ideas. An added enjoyment can be derived from the game's option to share the current puzzle with friends and family, who may not be able to play the game on their devices, by sending them an image of the puzzle that includes the hints and the solution for them to be able to check their results. This free version is the same as the Gallimaufry Words Full version, but with a smaller amount of words with which to play. There are no advertisements or any other pesky stuff.
