Archeologica is een competitief en educatief spel waarbij je wordt uitgedaagd om archeologische objecten aan kenmerken te koppelen. De objecten zijn archeologische vondsten die komen uit de schatkamer van de provincie Zuid-Holland. Door het spelen van het spel worden meer gegevens over de objecten verzameld waarmee de databases worden verrijkt en zo verder opengesteld kunnen worden. Hoe meer je bijdraagt, hoe hoger je score!
Archeologica is ontwikkeld door Eaglescience Software naar aanleiding van het winnen van de Digging for Data app challenge, uitgezet door de provincie Zuid-Holland.
