Star Trek: Trexels is an AND and iOS-based game set in the iconic Star Trek universe and drawing on it to its fullest (through the use of famous heroes and music, among other things). The title is a hybrid of many different species – including strategy and space simulator. YesGnome, a company known for such games as Champions and Challengers: Adventure Time and Kingsman – The Secret Service, is responsible for its creation.
### Story
U.S.S. Valiant was destroyed by an unknown enemy, and the star fleet has chosen you to complete his mission in a mysterious region of space known as Trexelian Space. Old enemies and completely surprising new allies are waiting for you here.
### Mechanics
Star Trek gameplay: Trexels combines several different elements, but is still very simple. As a captain we are responsible for expanding the ship (thanks to which we gain the necessary resources), selecting and training the crew, as well as exploring space and carrying out missions (for which the resources are needed). The latter can be very different and have extremely different goals – from negotiating with the Klingons to conducting research projects. A simple and clear LCARS interface helps to play the game \- in most cases the game requires us to touch a single field on the screen with our finger. From time to time we also fight similarly simple battles, both in space and on the surface of the planets.
### Game modes
Star Trek: Trexels has a single player mode only.
### Technical issues
Star Trek: Trexels on AND and iOS has two-dimensional old-school pixelart graphics. The graphics of this production will not delight anyone, but it fulfils its purpose, providing all the necessary information and well reflecting the atmosphere typical of the Star Trek universe. The game is accompanied by sound effects and musical works from cult films and series belonging to this franchise, as well as a narration performed by George Takei himself.
