Game Analysis | Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is set to come to a climactic end with its final DLC pack. The Bright Lord will allow players to step into the shoes of legendary elf Celebrimbor, in a campaign set thousands of years before the events of the main game. The Bright Lord is a fairly extensive story-based expansion with players battling through ten missions, culminating in an epic face-off with Sauron himself.Celebrimbor will be far different to play as than Talion, with Monolith’s director of design Michael de Plater likening him to a glass cannon. He’s in possession of the One Ring, which increases his powers of domination, allowing him to force enemies to fight for him, or wear the Ring to enter the Wraith world and slow down time. He’s also even more proficient with a bow, capable of firing off rapid fire shots. His combat abilities are going to be necessary against the more powerful enemies, which can now go up level 25 with a range of deadly new abilities. Sauron’s at the height of his power and he’s letting everyone know about it. | |

This definitely pumped the difficulty a little bit. Unfortunately you lost some cool abilities, BUT you are not playing you in main story, you play one side of you and also it’s a pre-qual, so it definitely makes sence. It’s not long DLC so eventhough most of it is basicly the same since you are building army, it varies at least a little bit. The last last two(three) bosses were actually interesting change. Especially last boss is a treat. It definitely gives you more story and connects some dots from main story. I played DLCs after main game so also it didn’t spoil me abilities and such.
Yes, more of this DLCs is basicly doing the same but It was ok.
