_Kajko i kokosz: Mirmi łowo Wielkie_ is the first of three chapters of
adventure game Kajko i Kokosz: Twierdza Czarnoksiężnika, loosely based on the
_Kajko i Kokosz_ comic book series. The story takes place in the Gord of Mirmi
łowo Wielkie and its surroundings. The idyllic life of the villagers is
interrupted by the arrival of traders caravan from the west, led by pretending
merchant evil sorcerer Hodon.
Hodon convinces the castellan Mirmil to build a luxurious and safe stone
castle at the expense of the villagers. He became Mirmił’s most trusted
adviser and the main builder of the castle. The introduction of a new tax on
Łamignat (local Robin Hood) and Jaga (sorceress) results in a resistance
movement against the new authorities. Kajko i Kokosz, defenders of the
settlement, must find a way to get rid of Hodon.
The game is a classic side-scrolling point and click adventure for kids with
colorful graphics. The game features a few mini-games, demanding dexterity,
thinking or good memory, such as heavy rock lifting, throwing the rope on the
gate, laying the stained glass, finding the wrong colors on stained glass,
catching the amulet, catching fish or fighting with beavers on the tape.
Depending on the situation the player controls Kajko (brainier) or Kokosz
(fighter) or both knights together. The game includes several locations, the
other ones will become available in the next chapter of the story.
