## Description
_Das Mattscheiben-Quartett_ is a variant of the classic Happy Families card
game. In this variant the player goes against a virtual copy of Oliver Kalkofe
and the card motives and categories are inspired by clips from the German TV
show _Kalkofes Mattscheibe_.
The player and the AI both receive 16 cards and at the start of the game the
player is the announcer. This means he shows his uppermost card and chooses
one of the seven categories. Then the AI shows its uppermost cards and the
card with the best worth (depending on the category either the highest or
lowest) wins and gets both cards. The winner is the next announcer. The goal
is to receive all cards to win the game.
There are two special rules: if both cards have the same worth, the announcer
changes. Also sometimes the player is not allowed to choose a certain category
when it would be a “certain winner” because it has the best worth of all
cards. The AI can be set to seven difficulty levels. The cards can also be
printed out and played offline with a friend.
