Yarn Yoshi is an upcoming 2.5D side-scrolling video game for the Wii U in development by Good-Feel. It will be the second Yoshi game since Yoshi's Story that stars only Yoshi. The game uses similar art material of yarn and textiles from the aforementioned game and Wii game from the Kirby franchise, Kirby's Epic Yarn, which was also developed by Good-Feel.Gameplay[edit]Yarn Yoshi features textile and fabric environment and is played in a similar manner to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story and keeps some moves from these games, such as the Flutter Jump. During levels, Yoshi starts out being made only of some yarn threads in his shape; however, using his tongue, the player can swallow Shy Guys to turn Yoshi into a three-dimensional, amigurumi crochet form.
