To play Counter-Strike you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an Intel Core 2 Duo E7400. Provided that you have at least an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT graphics card you can play the game. Counter-Strike system requirements state that you will need at least 4 GB of RAM. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 4 GB of free disk space available.
Counter-Strike will run on PC system with Windows XP + and upwards. Additionally it has Mac and Linux versions.
