The Warrant and No Way Out are the first two missions of Far Cry 5’s main storyline. They’re neither complicated, nor very long, but note that this walkthrough contains the solution that will let you unlock a secret ending. It becomes available during the prologue to Far Cry 5.
The Warrant
After exiting the chopper, reach the church with your allies to meet Joseph Seed, while he’s feverishly giving one of his sermons. You will soon be asked to cuff Joseph (the screen above). This is the moment, when you can unlock the secret ending to Far Cry 5. If you want to do that, then just do nothing – after about two minutes, you will see an alternative game ending.
If you do cuff him, the mission will go on. Get to the chopper with Joseph. The mission will end after the heli performs an emergency landing in some forest.
No Way Out
Free yourself from the wreckage. You have to escape the cultists – you have to weapons. Follow the linear path through the forest. After getting close to the cage, crouch to start sneaking. Quietly eliminate all cultists (walk up from behind and perform the takedown) – obtain a melee weapon during the process. Inside the hut, you can also find a gun.
Continue running, until you reach another hut, with one of your allies hiding there. After a short dialogue, you will get a rifle and the cultists will attack. Don’t exit the hut and look for opportunities to shoot the red canisters. Join your ally, who managed to steal a pick-up. The last stage of the mission requires you to shoot at the cultists from inside the car. Lean out to shoot and hide to reload. The mission will end after the pick-up crushes into the river.
Attention – hide inside the car whenever your health is critically low.
